Privacy policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
In short
- The website has no login, no contact form and no cookies.
- I don’t use analytics tools, ad tracking or tracking pixels.
- I don’t sell personal data.
- The only third parties that may receive technical data when you visit are the hosting provider Netlify and Google Fonts (the typeface).
- If you contact me, or I contact you by email, I process the information described below.
Who is responsible
Alex Hagerup, Sandefjord, Norway. You can reach me at alex.hagerup05@gmail.com. I am the data controller for the information described here.
When you visit the website
The site is an ordinary, static website. When you open it, this happens:
- Hosting at Netlify. The site is served by Netlify, Inc. (USA). As with any website, the server receives your IP address, the time, which page or file is requested, and information about your browser and device. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and find errors. I don’t use these logs to track you. Netlify decides how long logs are kept, see Netlify’s privacy policy.
- Typeface from Google Fonts. The site uses the typeface Inter, which is loaded from Google’s servers. Your browser then sends your IP address to Google. Google states that the service does not use cookies, see Google’s privacy page for Google Fonts.
- Videos and images. They are hosted on my own website, not on YouTube or similar, and a video only loads when you tap it.
- Links to Instagram and TikTok. When you tap them you leave the site, and the privacy rules of those services apply.
The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): being able to run and secure a website.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, neither cookies nor local storage. That is why there is no cookie banner.
When you contact me
If you email me, call, or message me on Instagram or TikTok, I receive the information you give me: your name, contact details and the content of your message. I use it to reply and to agree on a possible collaboration. The basis is that it is necessary to respond to a request about a contract, or legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
I keep messages for as long as the collaboration or conversation lasts. Enquiries that lead nowhere are normally deleted within 12 months. If we work together, I may have to keep some information longer because the law requires it, for example accounting rules.
When I contact companies by email
I email companies to offer UGC videos. For that I may store a name, work email address, job title and company, and a record of what I have sent and any replies. I get this information from publicly available sources, such as the company’s own website, or from business databases.
The basis is legitimate interest in marketing a service to businesses (Article 6(1)(f)). You can ask me at any time to stop contacting you and to delete your information, by replying to the email or writing to me. I then keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list so that you are not contacted again.
Who receives the information
I don’t share information with others for marketing and I don’t sell it. The information may be processed by the services I use to run the site and communicate: Netlify (hosting), Google (the typeface and the email service Gmail), and Instagram or TikTok if you write to me there.
Netlify and Google are US companies. Transfers to the US take place under the arrangements they state in their own privacy policies, for example the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU’s standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to the processing, and to receive a copy of it. Email alex.hagerup05@gmail.com and I will reply. If you believe I am processing your information incorrectly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
Changes
If I change what the site collects, I will update this policy and the date at the top.
